WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in any of the specific domains – Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing, Mitochondrial, Exomes Sequencing, Somatic variants analysis pipelines, among others.
- Experience in Data Science / Computational Biology in analyzing high dimensional biological data sets
- Hands-on experience of Developing Computational Biology Algorithms
- Industry experience in building innovative end-to-end Machine Learning systems
- Experience with at least one cloud provider solution (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- 2+ years’ experience in developing and deploying machine learning systems into production
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.
- Experience related to software architecture developing software in Python, Java, C++, and other languages
- Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases
- Expertise in standard software engineering methodology, e.g. unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, code reviews, design documentation

Conceptualize and Develop Algorithms / Pipelines for analyzing Exome Sequencing / Tumor Sequencing / Other Human Genome Sequencing Tests
COMPETENCIES
- Hands-on experience of Developing Computational Biology Algorithms
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Experience: 1+ years of experience
- Qualification: Ph.D Bioinformatics (University or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field)
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Knowledge of Genomics / Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics Tools and Statistical Methods
- Understand complex research problems and design complex algorithms used in computational biology
- Understand industry standard pipelines, algorithms, and tools to analyze NGS platforms
- Able to develop informatics algorithms and bioinformatics databases that can help in the understanding of Human disease
- Software Developer with experience in bioinformatics workflow development and data visualization to provide coding support for our team
- Good knowledge of programming languages for data analysis and tool development such as Perl, Php, Python, R, Java, Html, SQL, C++ in a distributed Linux environment
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Would be responsible for quality assurance and must adhere to laboratory-specific quality protocols
