Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the DST-SERB-CRG Sponsored Project No. SPG/2021/004179 entitled “Synthesis of Novel 1,1-Disubstituted C-nucleosides/nucleotides as potential Antiviral Drug Candidates Targeting RNA-Dependent RNA polymerase”.
Junior Research Fellow (One)
Salary: Rs 31,000/- + 24% HRA
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences, Biochemistry with strong academic record. The student qualified NET-LS/GATE will be given preference.
- Candidates should have research experience in the organic synthesis, viral assay, biochemical assay.
- Start Date of Advertisement: 15th September 2023
- End Date of Advertisement: 30th September 2023
The position is completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship will be per sanction in the project and/or as per guidelines. The initial appointment may be for three months or as per the recommendation of the selection committee, which can be extended based on the assessment of the candidate’s performance and the discretion of the competent authority. The eligible candidates may further
be shortlisted based on qualification/experience, depending on the total number of applications received. Candidates should also have experience in the industrial field. JNU may select candidates against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate, and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.Click here to view the original notification and apply
