Post 1
Name of the Position: Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) / Research Associate II
No. of Vacancy: 1 ( One Post)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
Emoluments: Rs.56000/- + HRA as admissible.
Duration: Up to one year
Essential Qualification : 1st Class
M.Sc. (AppliedBiology/Life Science Microbiology/Biotechnology) including the integrated PG Degrees
OR
2nd Class M. Sc. including the integrated PG Degrees + Ph.D. in (Applied Biology
OR Life Science or related discipline).
Desirable Qualification: 2 Years research experience or Ph.D. in Applied Biology OR Life Science or relevant subject from a recognized University. Additional Post-Doctoral
Research/Teaching experience in relevant subject. Research experience in NGS and Molecular Biology.
Scope of work: Scientist B will be responsible for carrying out NGS and do data analysis for the same for blood group genes. He/She will also be responsible for carrying out further invitro analysis.

Name of the Position: Research Assistant
No. of Vacancy: 1 ( One Post)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
Emoluments: Rs.31,000/- p.m.
Duration: Up to one year
Essential Qualification : Graduate in science/relevant subject Life Sciences/Biotechnology
/Biochemistry/Microbiology) from a recognized university with three years work experience
from recognized organization OR Master’s degree in the relevant subject (Life Sciences/Biotechnology /Biochemistry/Microbiology).
Desirable Qualification: Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques.
Scope of work: To carry blood group genotyping using various molecular assays.

- The above positions are on temporary contract basis.
- The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason(s) and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.

- The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason.
- Since, the posts are temporary; the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment at NIIH or continuation of his/ her services in any other project.

- The recruited project staff is eligible for leave as per project recruitment rules and will have to give an undertaking before joining.
