Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Routine
- Microbiology Area maintenance Area validation
- Isolate, Identify, examine and make cultures of bacteria/ other microorganisms in prescribed media, controlling moisture, aeration, temperature and nutrition. Periodic subculture of various in- use strains. Maintenance of glycerol stock.
- Use of specialized equipment such as Bioscreen, Microscopes to study effect of antibodies on microorganisms.
- Evaluation of samples; interpretation of result and compilation of data.
- Coordination with Horse Farm for immunization and sample collection.
- Coordinate with 3rd party for sample evaluation
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on research outcomes. (Lab notebooks, COA, BMRs, ADRs, SOPs, Protocol/ Report)
- Maintaining SOPs/ Log formats of Laboratory Equipments/ Calibrations and Validations.
- Follow-up for yearly and half yearly calibration of instruments and maintenance of records.
- Handling of budgets and stock maintenance.
- HPLC Analysis/ Validation/ know how of instrument/ Maintenance of HPLC/ Cleaning/ Maintaining logs and service report.
- Knowledge of ELISA, Protein estimation, Microbial techniques.

- Coordinate between Farm, QC, QA, R&D and Plant.
