Essential Qualifications: BSc in Sericulture/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. MSc in Sericulture/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Life Sciences
  2. Basic computer working knowledge.

: Rs. 15,000 pm consolidated.

Name of the Post: Project Assistant

Title of the project: “Identification of promising mulberry genotypes for physiological efficiency and their relationship with yield and quality under sub-optimal conditions (PIP 01037 SI)”

Tenure of the project: July 2023 to June 2028 or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualifications: BSc in Sericulture/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. MSc in Sericulture/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Life Sciences
  2. Basic computer working knowledge.

Emoluments: Rs. 15,000 pm consolidated.

Important points:

  1. Date of walk-in-interview: 07th August 2023
  2. Time for Post I: 10.30 AM onwards (candidates should reach the venue by 9.00 AM for verification of documents).
  3. Time for Post II: 11.30 AM onwards (candidates should reach the venue by 10.00 AM for verification of documents).
  4. Entry of candidates will be permitted only till 12 Noon.
  5. Venue: Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Manandavadi Road, Srirampura, Mysuru – 570 008.
  6. Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 01.07.2023 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC / physically challenged and women candidates)
  7. No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.
  8. The above-mentioned position is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Further claims for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
