Project Title :-“Bioinformatics & Computational System Biology of Cancer-BIC”

Post-I – Project Scientist

Educational Qualification & Experience:- PhD degree in life sciences with experiences in using different in silico based tools and in- vitro proteomics work.

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 69,440/- p.m. (Rs. 56,000+24% HRA).

Post –II– Principal Project Associate

Educational Qualification & Experience:- Master’s degree in Life Sciences plus eight years of research experience or PhD degree in life Sciences plus four years of research experiences in protein modelling and dynamics.

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 60,760/- p.m. (Rs. 49,000+24% HRA).

Duration: Six months. The work progress of

candidates will be monitored and extension may be given.

4. Question: Can you share an example of a time when you collaborated effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve a research goal?

Answer: In a collaborative project, I worked alongside biologists and computational experts to understand a protein’s functional role in a disease pathway. While biologists provided experimental data, I integrated it with computational models to derive meaningful insights. Through regular meetings and clear communication, we collectively deciphered the protein’s mechanism of action and published our findings in a reputable journal.

5. Question: How do you stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of bioinformatics and computational systems biology?
