Age limit (as on date of interview):

• Up to 35 years.
• Age relaxation of upto 5 years (Upto 40 years for SC/ST/ Differently abled/ women candidates.
• 3 years (Upto 38 years) for OBC (Non-creamy layer)

Qualifications:

Essential: Ph.D./ MD/ MS or equivalent degree in any discipline in Biological Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemistry with at least one research paper in peer–reviewed SCI indexed journal.

Desirable: Experience in animal handling skills

1. Can you tell us about your research experience and expertise in the field relevant to this position? Answer: In my previous role as a Research Assistant, I focused on studying plant genetics and molecular biology. I have experience in designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results. I have expertise in various molecular techniques, such as DNA extraction, PCR, and gene expression analysis. I also have a strong background in genetic engineering and have worked with plant transformation methods. 3. Can you provide an example of a research project where you demonstrated a strong Answer: In a recent research project, we aimed to identify novel genetic markers associated with disease resistance in crops. To achieve this, I designed experiments to screen and analyze a large population of plants. We encountered difficulties in obtaining accurate phenotypic data due to environmental variations. I took the initiative to critically evaluate our experimental design and proposed adjustments to minimize the impact of environmental factors. By applying statistical methods and carefully analyzing the data, we successfully identified potential genetic markers linked to disease resistance. This experience showcased my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in addressing complex research challenges.
