ICGEB – DBT PROJECT VACANCY NOTICE
The following project vacancies are available in Department of Biotechnology (India) sponsored projects entitled “National Networking Program for artificial intelligence based methods for healthcare data” and “Establishment of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre for high-throughput data analysis”, at the Translational Bioinformatics Group, ICGEB, New Delhi, India. Salaries will be offered per DBT norms, educational qualifications, and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview at ICGEB. Only the selected candidates will be informed individually. No TA/DA or accommodation will be offered to the candidates attending the interview.

Name of the Post: Project Scientist III

Qualifications:
a) Doctoral Degree
in science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent; Experience in bioinformatics/computational biology. Expertise in handling high-throughput biological databases, web-based database development, algorithm development, especially AI/ML in drug discovery, biology and healthcare data.Desirable Experience: Web server development, Image data analysis.
Consolidated salary: INR 96,720/month (Including HRA)
Post II
Name of the Post: Project Associate I
No of Posts: 3
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Experience in bioinformatics, especially database development, web technologies or AI/ML for bioinformatics.
Consolidated salary: INR 31,000/month (Including HRA)
