WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT ASSOCIATE–I/II & PROJECT ASSISTANT
Eligible and interested candidates may attend the walk-in-interview for engagement on a purely temporary basis as Project Associate-I/II (under Aroma Mission, Phase-III project) and Project Assistant (under Floriculture Mission, Phase-II Project) at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Hyderabad. The details are given below:
Name of the Post – Project Associate-I /II
Number of positions – 03 Nos. (vacancies may increase)

Max Age Limit – 35 Years
Monthly Emoluments (₹) –
For Project Associate-I:
- ₹ 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIRUGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- ₹ 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
For Project Associate-II:
- ₹ 35,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIRUGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- ₹ 28,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (1) above
Essential Qualifications –
For Project Associate-I:
- 1. M.Sc. in Agricultural/ Biological/Chemical Sciences/ M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy/
Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engg.) from a recognized University or
equivalent and with CSIRUGC/ICAR-NET/JRF/LS qualification or GATE. - M.Sc. in Agricultural/ Biological/Chemical Sciences/ M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy/ Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engg.) from a recognized University or equivalent.
For Project Associate-II :
- M.Sc. in Agricultural/ Biological/Chemical Sciences/ M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy/ Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engg.) from a recognized University or equivalent and with CSIRUGC/ICAR-NET/JRF/LS qualification or GATE and two years experience in Research and Development in a Research Organization.
- M.Sc. in Agricultural/ Biological/ Chemical Sciences/ M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy/ Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engg.) from a recognized University or equivalent and two years experience in Research and Development in a Research Organization.
Desirable Qualification –
- For M.Sc. in any branch of Agricultural/ Biological Sciences: Knowledge or experience in medicinal, aromatic and floriculture crops cultivation and quality planting material generation. Field work experience in medicinal and aromatic crops would be preferred.
- For M.Sc. in any branch of Chemical Sciences/ M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy / Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engg.): Knowledge or experience in the area of herbal extractions, process development, value addition, and quality analysis of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants would be preferred.

The candidates should report for the Walk-in-Interview at the above place along with duly filled and signed Application Form downloaded from website along with originals and attested copies of mark sheets, certificates and a recent passport-size photograph. General Terms & Conditions –
- Engagement will be initially for a period of one year, and may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent and availability of funds from funding agencies, as the case may be.
- The tenure of project staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five-year duration. The performance of the project staff would be reviewed periodically so that any one not found up to the mark, could be terminated.
- The position is only temporary and, therefore, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any post in CSIR-CIMAP.
- The upper age limit as on date of Walk-in-Interview, is relaxable as per the Government of India Rules i.e., up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with Disabilities/Women and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer).
- On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project
- The project staff shall be permitted to avail leave as per rules.
- Experience, where required, will be counted from acquiring minimum educational qualification.
- Final semester and result awaited candidates will not be allowed to appear for interview.
