- What skills and qualifications do you possess that make you suitable for the Research Assistant position?
Answer: I have completed my post-graduation in Life Sciences from a recognized institute with a consistently good academic track record. Additionally, I have computer skills for data collection, tabulation, and report writing. I also have experience in working in research projects, which makes me suitable for this position. - Can you explain your experience in data collection and tabulation for a research project?
Answer: During my post-graduation, I worked on several research projects where I had to collect and tabulate data. I am proficient in using software such as Microsoft Excel and SPSS for data analysis. I also have experience in maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of research data. - How do you ensure timely delivery of work in a deadline-oriented job?
Answer: I prioritize my work and create a work plan with a timeline for each task. I also maintain effective communication with the team members and the project supervisor to ensure that the work is progressing as planned. Additionally, I ensure that I am aware of the project’s timelines and deadlines, so that I can deliver work within the given time frame. - Can you give an example of a challenging situation you faced while working on a research project, and how you overcame it?
Answer: During my previous research project, we encountered some issues with data collection due to unforeseen circumstances. To overcome this challenge, we had to revise our data collection strategy and develop a new plan with additional resources. We also worked extra hours and assigned specific roles to the team members to ensure that the data was collected within the required time frame. Ultimately, we were able to complete the project within the given deadline, and the results were well-received by our project supervisor.
