• Conduct technical consultations with customers and propose solutions.
• Activities include conducting lab trials and developing applications and processes using Pall Products in customers’ new drug development processes.
• Educate and advise customers of best suited technology.
• In depth knowledge of downstream processing technologies and products is a must.
• Perform and coordinate bench scale test work to demonstrate how to get the best out of Pall products. Generate the necessary technical documents for internal and customer use.
• Work in close relationship with the BDM and other technology specialists, to coordinate activities and improve result.
• Increase sales by serving as Pall expert in coordinated Biotech processes to increase the number of applications that have Pall specified.
• Develop expertise by regular exchange of experiences, applications and technology training.
• Work with marketing to supervise and report progress metrics for penetration of drug pipeline.
• Maintain up to date awareness of relevant technical developments
• Willing to travel ( > 30%)

Qualifications:

• Degree (or equivalent), MSc or PhD in Science (Biotechnology)/Engineering (Bio)
• 3 – 5 years Minimum validated experience preferably in Biotech industry.

Position Competencies (must haves for the position):

• Bioprocess work experience in Biotech/Biopharma is highly preferred.
• In depth knowledge of unit operations and practices relevant to Biotech customers and processes (DSP & USP)
• High technical credibility.
• Current valid driving license.
• Fluent English
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with good interpersonal skills.
• Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
• Solves problems in straightforward and complex situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
