The Regional Application Centre will together with the account teams be driving advanced detergent optimization projects and will be the Centre of Excellence driven by thought leaders within the Powder, Bar and other innovative futuristic format-based detergent formulation.

Welcome to Consumer Biosolutions – Technical Services Household Care

In Consumer BioSolutions, we develop and serve all industries which deliver innovation to consumers, including developing new technologies for detergents for household care consumers. You will work in close collaboration with a diverse and agile team having various in-house competencies. You will have a unique opportunity to create, build and expand in-house detergent formulation knowledge. The area we are working in is specifically to assist our customers in making tomorrow’s detergents more eco-friendly by optimizing them for enzyme inclusion and using newer biological ingredients. Thereby you will be part of a team that will be spearheading the acceleration of the path to greener and sustainable detergents where we continue to push the boundaries for our area through close collaboration optimization and concept implementation with our customers, digitalization of the washing process and parameters.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Executing lab trials and developing application insights to offer strong technical support to business opportunities.
• Lead the projects to optimize existing methods in support of Customer and/or research projects.
• Lead the projects on demos and collaterals either customer specific or based on Enzyme benefits.
• Lab Inventory management and adherence to Good Lab Practices.
• Assist in representing Novozymes to Customers on defined Projects.
• Involve in designing value propositions and producing technical data for sales material to support this.
• Coordinate with the Global Communications team in designing Technical Write ups for new launches and in designing Application/benefit sheets and coordinating with the DK Demo lab team for standardizing the Real-Time stains developed in-house with the vendor.
• Assist Techno- commercial team with Customer presentations and build networking skills.
• Able to design detergent formulations of different spines to able to bring in more and more sustainable ingredients into the product formulation and study these the understand the performance by including enzymes.

Potentially relevant experience:

• 5 – 6 years of experience in the field of research/quality/application with a sound knowledge of chemistry and working in the lab.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of biotechnology/biochemistry are most likely preferred.
• Should have a consumer mindset to translate technical data into presentation and sales material.
• Sound knowledge of detergent chemistry and hands-on experience in handling detergents in formulation and application is an added advantage.

Location – This job will be located in Bangalore and will be an onsite job.

Answer: I ensure lab inventory management by maintaining an inventory of all lab materials and reagents, tracking their usage, and ordering them as needed.
