Online applications are invited through the online system on the ICMR NARI website up to 25th Apr 2023 for the following posts under the project entitled “Feasibility of Gene-Xpert platform and dried blood spots for HIV viral load testing among people living with HIV (PLH) attending ART centers in India”. These posts are
purely on temporary basis.In case of OBC,Non-creamy layer certificate from the competent authority empowered to issue such certificate should also be sent. Age and experience is relaxable in deserving cases. Government servants should apply through the proper channel or enclose a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present office/employer along with their application via email. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or bringing political or other influence with regard to the selection shall be considered a disqualification. Selected candidates should be willing to join ICMR-NARI within 5 working days. Headquarters and workplace will be at ICMR-NARI, Pune. Director ICMR NARI reserves the right to shortlist the candidates to be interviewed. The appointing authority has the right to accept/ reject any application without assigning any reason(s) and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
Essential Qualification – Graduate in Life Science/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry or relevant subjects with five years of work experience from the recognized institution
Or
Master’s degree in relevant subjects
Desirable Qualification –
- M.SC in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry or relevant subjects with 2-year experience of working in a molecular diagnostic laboratory or accredited labs will be preferred
- Ph.D in the relevant subjects.
Job Responsibilities –
- Routinely perform HIV Viral Load testing as per SOP under the project.
- Develop SOP and other relevant documents/tools as per the project requirements.
- Ensure all documentation as per the guidelines.
- Report generation and dispatch within turnaround time
- Management and analysis of data as per the project requirement.
- Storage and maintenance of samples and equipment.
- Flexible to working hours according to the availability of the machine and demands of the project.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by HOD/PI.
Consolidated Salary – Rs 35000/-pm only
