Job Description

Designation: Microbiologist QA

Reporting Person: Asst. Manager QA

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Microbiological tests for Fresh meat received and Ready to cook products manufactured on a daily basis.
2. Conduct microbiological tests for water and also swab tests for equipment and food contact surfaces based on the testing schedule.
3. Independently Maintain the Microbiological laboratory.
4. Maintain stock of the required chemicals of the microbial lab like culture media and other chemicals.
5. Conduct Finished goods inspection for physical and chemical parameters.
6. Update the Records upon completion of testing and release the Certificate of Analysis when required.
7. Conduct a few chemical tests like water p H and TDS testing-maintain the records of the same.
8. Conduct proficiency tests on a half-yearly basis and keep records for same.
9. Collect the control samples of the FG and maintain the Control sample register.
10. Maintain the records and reports of the QA team for audit documentation purposes.
