Online Applications are invited on or before 20.04.2023 for the following vacancy for the project entitled “Regional Resource Hub at NIRRH for Health Technology Assessment in India” funded by DHR to be filled on a purely temporary basis at ICMR-NIRRCH, Parel, Mumbai. - If required, a written test in the subject area will be held to shortlist candidates for the interview depending upon the number of candidates.

- The Director & appointing authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.

- The above post/s are filled-up purely on contractual basis & the candidate will have no right to claim for any type of Permanent Employment under ICMRNIRRCH or continuation of his/her services in any other project
- Candidates who will be interviewed online, if they are selected, will have to produce original documents of their Qualification, Age & Experience before joining. If they are not found entitled, their selection will be cancelled immediately.

Stipend – Rs. 32,000/- pm
Essential Qualification – M.Sc. Life science/ MPH/MHA/ Masters in Health Economics/Biostatistics/MPhil in Population Studies/ M. Pharma (Masters of Pharmacy) /Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy) with 4 years of experience in conducting Health Technology Assessment analysis
Desirable Qualification –
- Ph.D. degree Microbiology/Biochemistry /Biotechnology subject from a recognized University with 2 years R&D/Teaching experience in carrying out Cost-effectiveness analysis
- Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.
- Completed Basic and Advanced course on HTA
- Can you tell us about your experience in conducting Health Technology Assessment analysis, and how it relates to the requirements for this position?
Answer: I have completed my MSc. degree and have four years of experience in conducting Health Technology Assessment analysis. I have conducted various cost-effectiveness analysis studies in my previous roles, which aligns well with the requirements for this position. - How would you approach working in a team environment and collaborating with other professionals with different backgrounds?
Answer: I understand that working in a team environment requires effective communication and collaboration. I am comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds and have excellent communication skills that allow me to express my ideas and understand the perspectives of others. I am a team player and believe that collaboration leads to better outcomes. - Can you tell us about your knowledge and experience with computer applications or business intelligence tools for data management?
Answer: I have completed courses in computer applications and have experience with various software tools such as Excel, SPSS, and STATA. I am comfortable working with data management software and have used business intelligence tools in my previous roles to analyze data and produce reports. - How have you kept yourself updated with the latest trends and developments in your field of work?
Answer: I keep myself updated with the latest trends and developments in my field by attending conferences, reading scientific journals and publications, and collaborating with colleagues and professionals in the field. I also take online courses and workshops to improve my skills and knowledge. - Can you tell us about a time when you faced a challenging project or problem in your previous role, and how did you overcome it?
Answer: In my previous role, I was part of a team working on a challenging project where we had to conduct a cost-effectiveness analysis of a new medical device. The project had tight deadlines, and we faced several roadblocks, including a lack of data and technical issues with the software tools we were using. To overcome these challenges, we worked closely with the stakeholders, collaborated with experts in the field, and used alternative methods to gather data. We also worked overtime to meet the project’s deadlines and produced a comprehensive report that met the client’s requirements.
