- Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures of oneself and the teams aligned

Core Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic lab support staff to join the Protein tech – SARC Biology, a multidisciplinary team with capabilities in molecular cloning, expression and purification of proteins, including antibodies, bispecific and microbially expressed proteins. The ideal candidate will have broad laboratory training, deep scientific curiosity and a positive approach to working in a team-based research environment.
- Skills and Capabilities:
Required Technical Qualification:
- Should have specialized experience and understanding of microbiology techniques, media preparation and media sterilisation concepts.
- Should understand aseptic lab operations and familiar with laboratory environment.
- Should have experience in working with Laminar air flow hoods.
- Should have operated and is familiar with the concepts of Autoclave.
- Should be good with mathematical concepts required for preparing buffer stocks, antibiotics stocks, media stocks and LB agar plates. Knowledge and understanding of Moles, mass and concentration (Molarity/Normality) a must.
- Support laboratory staff by ordering, receiving and inventorying lab supplies, housekeeping items, glasswares etc.
- Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
- Work according to established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and regulatory guidance.
Behavioural Skills:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability.
- Must have a high moral framework (ethics code) and high sense of data integrity values.
