Project Description – Development of chemically modified lectins to kill pathogens

Duration of the project – Initially for one year and can be extended to 2 years.

Name of sponsoring agency – Indian Council of Medical Research, India

• The candidate is expected to register for PhD for this project work. Applicants may send their resume by email to the Principal Investigator, Dr. V. Anbazhagan, at [email protected] on or before 15 March 2023. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a test and interview. The date of the test and interview will be notified by email only to the shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Online written tests & interviews will be conducted.

Essential Qualification – First Class in Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Chemical engineering

Desirable – Fundamental knowledge of Chemistry with a desire to learn new techniques

Fellowship – As per ICMR norms Rs. 31,000/- p.m. Otherwise as per the norms of SASTRA Deemed University
