Qualifications –
- MSc in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology and any other stream of biological sciences
- PhD Degree (awarded, submitted, under evaluation) in Biological Sciences with specialisation in virology, molecular biology, and infectious diseases.
- First-author publications in at least two Sci-indexed journals.
Relevant Experience –
- At least four years of research expertise in molecular biology, virology, cell biology and infectious diseases (post MSc or during PhD).
- Expertise/ experience of handling infectious pathogens in Biosafety facility (at least BSL-2 level).
- Expertise in bioinformatics, large scale sequence analysis etc.
- Expertise in Excel, Prism, photoshop and powerpoint.
