• Venue: Seminar Hall, Ground Floor, Main Building, CSIR-IMTECH, Sector 39 A Chandigarh

Position: Project Associate-I = 01

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or
equivalent

Desirable: Candidates having hands-on experience in techniques such as basic microbiological experiments, bacteriophages, protein purification and characterization, ELISA/immunodiagnostic assays, Nanoparticle synthesis, etc. Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working in a research laboratory.

Upper Age limit (years) – 35

Monthly Emoluments:

1. Rs. 31,000/- +HRA to Scholars who are selected through a (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
2. Rs. 25,000/- +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Position: Project Associate-II = 01

Essential Qualification:

1. Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent, and
2. Two years of research experience in Research and Development in industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services

Desirable: Hands-on experience with techniques such as Nanoparticles/nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, conjugation chemistry, and bacteriophages. Knowledge of electrochemical techniques and handling of clinical samples. Candidates having industrial exposure (of electrochemical testing/diagnostic industries, LFIA prototyping) will be preferred.

Upper Age limit (years) – 35

Monthly Emoluments:

1. Rs. 35,000/- +HRA to Scholars who are selected through a (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
2. Rs. 28,000/- +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Position: Senior Project Associate = 02

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or
bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or
equivalent; and
(ii) 4 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
OR
Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Pharma/ MD/ MS from a recognized
University or equivalent

Desirable: Highly motivated candidates having 4 years of experience in immunoassays, food microbiology, food safety standards, bacterial enrichment methods, food sample processing for food testing, bioassay designing, lateral flow immunoassay and colloidal nanoparticle-based assays.

Upper Age limit (years) – 40

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- +HRA
