Applications are invited for Principal Project Associate
To study the RNA binding proteins in RNA virus infection
Name of the Post – Principal Project Associate
Name of PI – Prof. Saumitra Das,
Duration of the Project – One Year (extendable for two more year based on the performance) Indo-Swiss project funded by DBT, GoI.
Fellowship – Fellowship commensurate with the qualification and (as per the DST guidelines).
Essential Qualifications – Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Basic Science with good scientific publications record. Those with previous work experience with RNA Biology and/or Molecular Virology will be preferred.
Desirable – Project involves studies on RNA-protein interactions, and characterization of the role of host RNA binding proteins in the viral life cycle. Largely techniques involved are Virology, Molecular biology, Cell biology and Animal Handling, Thus, preference will be given to the candidate who
is having prior experience in these fields.Age limit – 40 years
