Job Vacancy in Metabolic Engineering Group
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

One position is vacant for carrying the metabolic engineering research on algal strains to enhance biomass productivity and lipid content in a metabolic engineering group related to DBT-ICGEB Advanced Bioenergy Research grant to contribute in the area of bioenergy using innovative synthetic biology and genome editing tools.

Job Description: Design and construction of vectors, Cloning, genetic transformation, PCR, RT-PCR, Southern blot analysis, DNA sequencing, and maintenance of transgenic algal cultures etc

Remuneration: As per the rules of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
