WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
A Walk-In-Interview for the RA position in the externally funded projects will be conducted on 24th November 2022 in the Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12. The post is purely on a contractual basis. The eligible candidates are required to attend in person with biodata in the enclosed proforma along with a self-attested scanned copy of the original documents. Name of the Project: “Biofortification in Selected crops for nutritional security- Pearl millet” through ICAR-funded project.
Terms and Conditions –
- Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women, and three years for OBC as per rule.
- The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis which may be extended periodically subject to the performance of the candidate till the termination of the project.
- The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
- Reporting time for walk-in-interview will be till 10.30 am and no candidates will be
entertained after that. - The candidates will have to compulsorily fill in the application form (as per the format
annexed), and - Attach copies of certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/LS/GATE equivalent certificate, degree certificates, and a recent photograph enclosed on the scan application form. Enclose the proof of experience, NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (if employed), and publications.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining, if selected.
- Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed.
- Concealing of facts or CANVASSING in any form shall lead to the disqualification of such candidates.
- In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the New Delhi court only.
- The final results of the interview will be hosted on the institute’s website 10 days after the interview, so no phone calls will be entertained before that.
Emoluments – RA @ Rs. 49,000/- per month + HRA- (for Master Degree holders) & Rs. 54,000/- per month + HRA (for Ph. D).
Essential Qualifications – Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Life Science (Plant Science) from a recognized university. OR with Master’s degree holders: Master’s degree in the relevant subject with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/ NAAS rated (24.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of’ DST dated 31.01.2019.
