Project Title: Co-creating Sustainable Agri-Water Use in the Hindon sub-basin–A Multi
Scale Participatory Approach
Funding Agency: Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Age Limit: 35 years
Background of the project: The project intends to understand aspects of nitrogen cycling with a focus on deducing structure and function of microbial communities linked to rates and fluxes of nitrogen in the Hindon sub basin while addressing the overall theme of sustainable agri-water use. - More details: The position is initially for a period of one year and is purely temporary in nature. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Salary: Rs 31000 + HRA (as applicable) per month
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent. Proven experience in the area of conducting sampling in riverine systems or developing approaches to understand aspects of nitrogen budget in the riverine system would be welcome.
