Eligibility criteria for Admission to the PhD course –

The candidates who have a postgraduate qualification in a science subject and having a letter of award for fellowship and contingency by any government funding agency for a minimum period of three years.

OR

Candidates that do not have their own fellowship but working as SRF, JRF and Research assistants in extramural projects at SGPGIMS within one year of the start of the project and the total project duration should be at least three years funding by Government funding agencies.

OR

Candidates having Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) at this Institute from Government funding agencies/extramural projects funded by Government funding agencies, within of having obtained fellowship
