Walk-in interview for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a research project funded by SERB, Govt of India

Project Title – Gut Electromicrobiology: Understanding extracellular electron transfer capabilities of the gut microorganisms and its implications to human health.
Duration – 1 year (extendable to 1 additional year after evaluation and as per the availability of funds)

Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Microbiology with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates should have qualified for any national eligibility tests such as CSIR/UGC/DBT-NET and GATE in the relevant discipline.
Desired qualifications: Prior research experience/hands-on training on handling/ cultivation of pure microbial cultures (preferably anaerobic), microscopy and molecular biology is desired. Some knowledge and experience in microbial electrochemistry are also desired.
