Staff Requirements for the IMR Project
(Department of Pharmacology)

Name of the Post – Junior Research Fellow

No. of Posts – 01

Name of the Project – Sub-acute toxicity and chronic toxicity of standardized aqueous extract of Eclipta alba Linn.

Age – Not more than 28 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per GOI rules.

Duration – One year.

General Terms & Conditions –

1. Age limit: Not exceeding 28 years as of the date of the Interview. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per GOI rules.
2. The above position is purely on a temporary basis and a co-terminus with the project. There is no provision for re-employment after the termination of the project. The selected candidate will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular post being vacant at a later date at this institute/council.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Candidates attending the interview should bring their original educational qualifications, experience certificates and publications etc. at the time of the interview. Candidates already working should produce a “No Objection Certificate” in case he/she is employed elsewhere.

Pay – Rs. 31,000/- per month plus 24 percent HRA

Essential Qualification – B.Pharm /B.V. Sc /M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Zoology/M.Pharm(Pharmacology) from a recognized University with experience in handling of laboratory animals.

Desirable –

1. Qualified NET/ GATE/ GPAT.
2. Experience in Handling Laboratory animals (rats).
3. Manuscript writing skills.
4. At least one publication in a science citation index journal.
