Post I
Name of the Position – Research Associate-I (RA-I)
No. of vacancies – 01
Project Title – Analogue of prothrombin time: identification and assay development of novel non-invasive and surrogate indicator of blood coagulopathy
Age Limit – Up to 40 years as of the last date of application (Relaxed upper age limit by two years in the case of women candidates)
Tenure – Initial appointment will be for one year extendable based on performance.
Emoluments – ₹47000/- + HRA @18%
Essential Qualifications – PhD/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed journal or Three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed journal.
Desirable Experience – PhD in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Applied Chemistry
with experience in proteomics and at least one international research paper.Post II
Name of the Position – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Title – Asymmetric Total Synthesis of Eupalinilide E and Allied Guaianolides
Age Limit –
The upper age limit for applying for the JRF shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants whereas 3 years in the case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates).
Tenure – The initial appointment will be for one year extendable based on performance.
Emoluments – ₹31,000/- per month+16% HRA = ₹35,960/-
Essential Qualifications –
Post graduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in the professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
b. The Selection process is through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable – Research experience in (academic and or industrial) organic synthesis.
