Applications are invited for the position of Field Lab technician in a research project entitled “The effects of multiply-fortified salt among women of reproductive age in India”

Duration – 1 year. (can be extended)

Terms & Conditions –

1. The post is purely temporary. Employment will automatically terminate upon completion/termination of the project, and there is no liability for permanent employment on PGIMER Chandigarh or Principal Investigator or funding agency.
2. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
3. Any other mode for submission of the application mentioned above will not be considered/accepted
4. Any application received after the expiry of the vacancy notice will not be entertained
5. No TA/DA will be provided.

Emoluments (Monthly) – Commensurate with qualification and experience.

Essential Qualification – Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in life sciences or equivalent. Minimum one year of experience in moderate to high-level Labs.

Desirable –

• The candidate must be comfortable with travelling to rural areas of the Mohali district of Punjab and can spend adequate time in the field.
• Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience in research project/s.
• Should be well versed with MS Office and typing.
• Should be able to perform multi-tasking for the fieldwork and laboratory work.
