Call for Applications for the Position of Junior Research Fellow
Name of the Post – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Name of the Project – “Microfluidic Chip to Capture and Lyse Pathogen from Body Fluids”.
Name of the PI – Dr. Suhanya Duraiswamy
Tenure of employment – Contract period initially for 1 year. Can be extended upon satisfactory performance. The student will have the option of converting to PhD depending upon satisfactory performance and satisfying qualifying criteria.

Essential Qualification –
- B Tech/MTech in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology
- Minimum of 65% marks (or CGPA/Grade of 6.50 or above)* (*institute may set higher cut-off marks for the shortlisting if the number of candidates is high)
Desirable – Basic microbiology knowledge is desired but not essential. The candidate should be willing to work with microbes and blood.
Emoluments – As per the revised GOI norm + HRA. Accommodation will not be provided on campus.
