ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF SRF

Name of the Post – Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Name of the Project – STAT3 – HPV

Flow-FISH: Development of innovative single molecule RNA (smRNA) detection, flowcytometry-based quantitative and diagnostic assay for detection of transcriptionally active high risk-HPV infections by ICMR.

Duration – Upto January 2024

Stipend – Rs.35,000/-per month + HRA (as per norms)

Eligibility –

1. Candidates should have an M.Sc. in Zoology, Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, or any other related field of Life Sciences discipline with a minimum of 55% marks for General Category [50% marks in case of (SC/ST/PH) or equivalent to CGPA grade).
2. UGC/CSIR NET qualified.
3. 2 years of research experience post-M.Sc.

Desirable: Experience in Flow cytometry, Microscopy, and basic Molecular Biology techniques such as Western Blotting, PCR, detection of etc. Candidates having experience in RNA Biology, NGS data analysis, and single-cell RNA sequencing with cell culture techniques will be preferred. Working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint), Basic Bioinformatic skills, and Statistical and Image Analysis software like SPSS, and Adobe Photoshop.

The Terms & Conditions for the post are as follows (Read carefully)

1. The Posts are purely temporary for the project duration only.
2. The appointment is terminable with one month’s notice from either side.
3. The incumbent selected will have no claim for regular appointment at the University of Delhi.
4. No benefit of Provident Fund, LTC, Medical Claims, etc. is admissible.
5. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD as per Govt. rules.
6. The number of positions can be decreased/increased at the discretion of the Pl of the project.
7. The competent authority has the right to screen /reject the candidature or cancel the whole selection procedure without assigning any reason.
