Position available for Project Associate II
Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate II in the Plant Stress Biology group at ICGEB, New Delhi in a DBT-sponsored HGK-IYBA project “Prions as stress sensors in plants: Role of DNA/RNA binding proteins in regulating stress memory”. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Charanpreet Kaur, an IYBA fellow.

Age limit – 35 years
Duration – Please note that this is a temporary project position whose duration is only for the tenure of the sanctioned project (i.e. 2 years). ICGEB reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

Salary/Monthly emoluments – The salary (Rs. 35000 + 24% HRA per month)
Essential qualifications – M.Sc/ M.Tech in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences or other related fields with a minimum of two years of research experience.
Desirable qualifications – A candidate with experience in techniques such as cloning, protein purification, yeast-two hybrid, and using CRISPR/Cas system-mediated rice transformation will be preferred.
