Description – NDDB MRIDA Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of NDDB engaged in the Manure Management initiative. The subsidiary will undertake research and development, innovations and setting up business models around the Manure Management initiative. NDDB proposes to hire committed and hardworking professionals who shall be associated with the subsidiary and take forward the initiative a national scale.

Profile Summary – The position is being filled under the manure Management initiative of NDDB specifically to be associated with a proposed subsidiary of NDDB which is being set up.
Key Roles & Responsibility –
- Responsible for research, planning, and implementing new programs and protocols into the organization and overseeing the development of new products
- Responsible for product development, quality control, market research and promoting innovations
- Delivery of the experimental, technical, and theoretical components of the R&D programme in microbiology and biofertilizers besides quality management of slurry-based organic products
- Having knowledge of microbiological techniques like isolation, purification, characterization and maintaining cultures by following good laboratory practices
- Undertaking laboratory analysis and monitoring of microbial cultures, samples having knowledge of a range of identification methods
- Keeping up to date with scientific and research developments
- Managing laboratory with observing high health and safety standards
- Provide deep technical expertise in soil / agricultural microbiology
- Develop partnership with internal & external stakeholders to address challenges related to biofertilizers and testing their efficacy
Qualification & Experience –
- Post graduate degree (M.Sc.) in microbiology (preferably in Agricultural microbiology) or equivalent from the recognised University, having two to five years of experience working in a relevant area with the ability to design experiments to test hypotheses and conduct independent research.
Other Essential Attributes and Skills
- Field and/or R&D working skills in the laboratory related to the application of its products in agriculture
- Develop procedures for analysing new parameters in order to augment the scope for NABL certification in future.
- Hard-working, sincere, self-motivated personality.
- Action orientation.
Remarks –
- Hindi, English and Gujarati(Desirable)
- The place of posting will be in Anand to start with but the candidate should be willing to work anywhere in India
- Candidates above 35 years as on 01 July 2022 need not apply.
