Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the post of 02 – Project AssociateI/II under the project entitled “Profiling of immunomodulatory potential and development of herbal product (as per AYUSH and FSSAI standard) based upon traditional medicines from Eastern and Western Himalaya with special reference to Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, under Himalayan Bioresources Mission, at IBSD, Imphal.

Duration – 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Upper age limit – 35

How to Apply –

1. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for a regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms.
4. Eligible candidates may send their filled up application along with the following documents to Senior Administrative Officer, Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Takyelpat, Imphal.
5. The last date of submitting application forms (hard copy- at the above-given address & Soft copy to the given email id) is 15 days from the date of advertisement. A hard copy of the application is compulsory. (Email Id.: [email protected])
6. Interim queries will not be attended.

Documents need to be enclosed –

• Duly filled-in application form which is given on the next page.
• Copies of mark sheets, certificates, age proof, and Category (in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD applicants, relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms).
• Experience certificates, if any.
• In-depth biodata.
• Applicants should provide their no. and e-mail id.

Fellowship –

• 1st & 2nd Year – Rs. 31,000/- per month + 8% HRA (applicable if selected through National Tests- CSIR-UGC, NET or GATE)
• Otherwise, Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA for others who do not fall under the above.
• 3rd Year – Rs. 35,000/- per month + 8% HRA (applicable if selected through National
  Tests- CSIR-UGC, NET or GATE)
• Otherwise, Rs. 28,000/- + 8% HRA for others who do not fall under the above.

Qualification – M.Sc. in Life Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/
Microbiology/ Biochemistry or any relevant field.
