For Post I

Remuneration – Rs. 47,000 plus 8 percent HRA pm

Qualifications –

1. M.Sc. (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Basic Sciences, Public Health) plus PhD; preferably with post-Doc experience
   or
2. M.D. (Microbiology or Community Medicine)

Candidates with research experience in molecular biology, microbiology, microbial genome analysis and a minimum of 1 publication in indexed journals will be preferred.

Job description –

Performance and supervision of the microbiology and molecular laboratory work, content preparation for training, conducting training workshops, travel to work closely with the network centres, liaising with ICMR, data analysis, genomics, report preparation, manuscript writing and overall supervision of project implementation among others.

For Post II

Remuneration – Rs. 35,000 plus 8 percent HRA pm

Qualifications – M.Sc. (Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular biology,
Life sciences) with two years of research experience.

Job description –

Responsible for on-site clinical and microbiological data collection, carrying out study objectives, aiding in content preparation for training programs, the molecular analysis involved in the study, coordination of training on-site and monitoring the progress of the work.
