Positions are available at Healseq.com, a company incubated at IISc, Bangalore for
work on biomarkers in healthcare.

You will work as a member of the Healseq team to develop, test and deploy workflows for developing molecular diagnostics and solving problems for facilitating precision medicine and will include bioinformatics, development of RT-PCR kits, clinical validation and GTM strategies. The company is looking for additions to the well integrated team for exciting new projects.

Job responsibilities –

RT-PCR based biomarker development, Analysis of NGS data, Bioinformatics-based research, analysis and interpretation, Integration with biological and clinical information, Participating in clinical research, Preparing reports, proposals, Basic bench work – eg., DNA/RNA extraction from clinical samples, RT-PCR.

Skills –

MBBS/B.Tech/M.Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences with some background in genetics and familiarity in atleast some of the following: RT-PCR based assay development, NGS analysis, R, shell-scripting/ Python/ Data-Analysis methods, Biostatistics; Strong written and oral communication skills; Motivation to quickly learn new concepts, methods and manage multiple tasks. Medical professionals with interest in this type of work are also encouraged to apply.
