Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up one post of Senior Research Fellow on a contract basis for Department of Biotechnology funded project entitled “Explaining the differential severity of COVID-19 between Indians in India and the UK” under Dr. Manjunatha M V, Associate Professor, Dept. of Neurovirology, and Co-Investigator.

Max Age Limit – 32 years

Duration – Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which will be extendable until the end of the project depending upon the performance of the candidate

Emoluments – Rs.35000 plus 24 percent HRA pm

Educational Qualifications – M.Sc Microbiology / Virology / Medical Microbiology

Experience – Minimum of three years of research experience in diagnostic microbiology and virology, cell culture, virology techniques, public health virology, epidemiology, immunology and flow cytometry with at least one publication.
