WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the Walk-in-interview for engagement on a purely temporary basis for the following posts under different projects tenable at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Bengaluru.
The eligibility criterion is as follows –
Post I

Age Limit – 35 Years
Mode of Selection – Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the interview. A written test may be conducted if the candidates appear in higher nos.
Date, place and time of the interview – 21st March 2022 at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Bengaluru
(Reporting time – 9 AM along with signed Bio-Data downloaded from the website with original and attested copies of mark sheets/certificates and a recent passport size photograph.Terms & Conditions –
- Engagement will be initially for a period of one year, and maybe extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent and availability of funds from funding agencies, as the case may be.
- The tenure of project staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five-year duration. The performance of the Project Assistant/Lab Assistant would be reviewed periodically so that anyone not found up to the mark, could be terminated.
- The position is only temporary and, therefore, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any post in CSIR-CIMAP.
- The upper age limit as mentioned above will be as on date of walk-in-interview which is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/Persons with disabilities/women/OBC
- Special age relaxation in case of Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands, who are not remarried as per rules.
- On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project.
- The Project staff shall be permitted to avail leave as per rules.
- Experience, where required, will be counted from acquiring minimum educational qualifications.
- Final semester and result awaited candidates will not be allowed to appear for an interview.
For Post I
Stipend – Rs.31, 000/- + HRA for UGC, CSIR- NET/NET-LS/GATE qualified candidate
OR Rs.25, 000/- + HRA for others
Essential Qualifications – M.Sc in Biochemistry/Biotechnology
Desirable – Working experience in yeast biology.
For Post II
Stipend – Rs. 24,660/- (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications – B.Sc with Biotechnology as major or as one of the subjects.
Desirable – Working experience in Plant Tissue Culture/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology.
