Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates in the prescribed format as enclosed herewith for the temporary posts mentioned below in “Stem Cell Facility” –

Post I

Name of the Post – Scientist-B (Molecular Diagnostic)

No. of Posts – 01

Tenure of the Post – One Year

Age – Age should not exceed 35 years.

Post II

Name of the Post – Scientist-C (Stem Cell Biology)

No. of Posts – 01

Tenure of the Post – One Year

Age – Age should not exceed 40 years. Relaxation up to a maximum of 5 yrs in case of merit and experienced.

How to Apply –

1. Applicants should note that the appointment is to be made purely on temporary and there is no right for claiming for any regular appointment in NIMS.
2. In case, the services of a particular post are required only for part of a day, the salary payable will also be proportionately adjusted and will be explained at the time of the interview.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining the post.
4. The application should be submitted in the enclosed prescribed format and must be accompanied by attested copies of certificates in support of all information furnished in the application.

For Post I

Consolidated Salary per month – Rs. 60,000 pm

Qualifications –

• M.Sc with 2 yrs experience or Ph. D
• Desirable to have experience in Molecular Diagnostics (PCR & FISH)/ Flow Cytometry.

Job Description –

1. To establish and perform molecular diagnostic tests (PCR based/ FISH based)
2. To establish and perform Flow Cytometry based tests.
3. To teach and train Residents, Research students, Technical course students and Technical staff in Molecular Diagnostic/ Flow Cytometry techniques.
4. Interpretation and troubleshooting of test results.
5. To train and teach the research students to execute research projects.
6. To write projects for funding agencies and conduct research in Molecular Diagnostics/ Flow cytometry/ transplant Immunology.
7. Establish newer technologies related to molecular diagnosis.
8. To establish and handle QA/QC related issues of molecular/ flow cytometry lab.

For Post II

Consolidated Salary per month – Rs. 75,000 pm

Qualifications –

• Ph.D. with 2 yrs post Ph.D. work/research experience.
• Desirable to have post Ph.D. work experience in Stem Cell product Development and translational research.

Job Description –

1. To establish protocol and SOPs for regenerative medical research.
2. To design clinical translational protocols and trials for stem cells.
3. To train and teach the research students to execute research projects
4. Able to write projects for funding agencies and conduct research in stem
   cell therapeutics.
5. Establishing transplant-related immunological testing methods and molecular diagnostics for patient care
6. To establish cGMP quality management in the laboratory.
