Name of the Post – Technical Assistant (Project)

Name of the Project – “Effect of hypoxia on different neural cell types in vitro- a model to design therapeutic strategies against cerebral palsy in preterm infants”

Name of the Project Investigator – Prof. Pankaj Seth, Scientist VII, NBRC

Tenure – Appointment will be made on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year. Continuation of appointment will depend upon satisfactory performance during the appointment period and the validity of the project. The post is co-terminus with the project.

Accommodation – Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to
availability.

Age Limit – Maximum 35 years (as on the date of receipt of application)

Application Procedure –

Interested candidates fulfilling the following requirements can submit a duly filled

in application as per attached format along with CV and self-attested copies of certificates in support of their qualifications and experience latest by 25th February 2022 to “The Administrative Officer (Academics), National Brain Research Centre, Nainwal Mode, Gurugram-122 052 (Haryana)”. Note –

1. No TA/DA will be payable to the candidates for attending the interview
2. Only candidates who are shortlisted will be called for an interview. Candidates are required to attach a copy of their self-attested certificates of qualification & experience in support of the claims made by them in their application, failing which their application shall summarily stand rejected without any intimation.

Emoluments – Rs. 35,000/- p.m. (consolidated) (No other allowances are applicable)

Essential qualification – Graduation in life science from any recognized university with
more than 55 % marks.

Desirable experience –

• Candidates with experience in laboratory data/equipment management, cell and molecular biology techniques, with the ability to liaison with hospitals, will be preferred. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview to be held at NBRC.
