Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DBT Project
Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with monthly fellowship in Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded project titled – “Inducing reversal of skeletal muscle atrophy in type 2 diabetes by intrinsic stem cell mobilization using bioactive lipids” for three years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential qualification –
- Candidates with M.Sc. degree in any branch of Biological Science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-NET/DBT-JRF/ UGC-JRF/ GATE will be preferred.
- Selected candidates can enroll themselves for the Ph.D. programme of the institution (Yenepoya Deemed to be University).
- A good academic record, inquisitiveness to do science, independent worker, a good team player and skills in any one technique such as cell culture, qRT-PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, small animal handling is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are compulsory.
