Advertisement for Project Associate-II position in a SERB-CRG Funded Project
A virtual online interview will be held on 18/02/2022 for filling up one post of Project
Associate-II in a SERB funded project under Dr ProsenjitSaha (PI) and Dr SubhadipHajra
(Co-PI). Possessing M.Sc/Ph.D in Biological Sciences may appear in online interview.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of one Project Associate-II under a research project sponsored by SERB-CRG, Government of India to be executed in the Department of Cancer Chemoprevention, Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute,
Kolkata-700026, West Bengal.

Name of the Project – Exosome mediated co-delivery of natural flavonoid Orientin and 5-Fluorouracil for targeting colorectal cancer stem cells involved in angiogenic progression.
Supervisor – Dr. Prosenjit Saha (PI
), Dr SubhadipHajra (CO-PI), Department of Cancer Chemoprevention, CNCI, Kolkata.Duration – Three years. The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, which is extendable up to three years, solely based on performance. The position is co-terminus with the completion of the project.
Age limits – 35 years as of the date of publication of the advertisement (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped for five years as per Govt. of India rules
subject to production of suitable certificates from the competent authority). Age can be relaxed if appropriate expertise to work with the project.

Fellowship – Rs. 35000/- + 24% HRA
Essential Qualification –
- M.Sc in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
- 2 years experience in research and development in industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organizations and scientific activities and services.
OR - Doctoral degree in Science/Engineering/Pharma from a recognized University or equivalent.
