Age Limit – The upper age limit is 45 years (5 years relaxation for female/ SC/ST/ physically handicapped candidates as per the GOI rules). The upper age limit will be counted on the last date of the application submission.

Qualifications – The candidates should have PhD degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Zoology/ Virology supported with the original research publications essentially in the area of infectious diseases and/or cell biology.
Desirable Qualifications – Applicants having hands-on working experience in the area of
Molecular Virology would be preferred.
