VIRTUAL INTERVIEW THROUGH VIDEO CONFERENCE FOR SELECTION OF
THREE (3) POSTS OF JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOWS AND ONE (1) POST OF
FIELD ASSISTANT AT TOCKLAI TEA RESEARCH INSTITUTE, JORHAT,
ASSAM ON 17th January 2022
Online interviews through video conference will be conducted for
- Two posts of Junior Project Fellow (JPF) and one Field Assistant under Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited sponsored project: Evaluation of “MAK ADJUVOL” as an adjuvant with recommended pesticides against major pests of tea.
- One post of Junior Project Fellow (JPF) under Ajay Biotech (India) Ltd sponsored
project: Exploration and utilization of EPN based “Biofighter” formulation for ecofriendly management of major tea pests in North East India.
Place of work – Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam. The selected candidate has to travel extensively along with tea estates of North east Indi
These positions are purely on a temporary basis for a period of 2 years.
Post I
Name of the Post – Junior Project Fellow(JPF)
No. of Posts – 2+1
Age limit – 28 years as of the date of the interview
Essential Qualification – M.Sc in Life Sciences with specialisation in Entomology/ Zoology/ or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Remuneration – Fellowship of INR. 20,000/- (Per month consolidated )
Post II
Name of the Post – Field Assistant
No. of Posts – 1
Age limit – 28 years as of the date of the interview
Essential Qualification – B.Sc in Biological Sciences with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Remuneration – Fellowship of INR. 10,000/- (Per month consolidated )

Date and Time of interview – Virtual interview will be held for selection of the above-mentioned posts for Department of Entomology, Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat,
Assam-785008 on 17th January 2022 from 10.30 am. onwards. Online interview link
through Google Meet will be sent to shortlisted candidates through e-mail on dated 16th
January 2022.
General Instructions –
- The above post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Candidates appearing through Video Conference should be all available from 10 am.
onwards on the day of the interview and will join only as and when directed/informed. - Candidates should submit a soft copy of the duly filled–in application form along with
Biodata/ (CV), and Scanned documents (testimonials of qualifications, mark sheets,
experience, date of birth etc.) need to be sent to [email protected] latest by
14th January 2022. - Selected candidates need to join immediately or at very short notice.

selection or rejection of a candidature including cancellation of the interview without
assigning any reason thereof.
