Job Purpose and Impact –
The Technology Application Specialist will manage research and develop excellent criteria as protocols, coordination, timeline respect in trial deliverables and line of sight to innovation unit and data. The role is accountable for contributing to the delivery of innovation research and projects through supporting researchers with trial execution, protocols and data for Shrimp and Fish feed technology. Independently running moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff will be a differential.
Key Accountabilities –
- Responsible for planning and quality assurance of Aquafeed trials and keeping an ongoing and active dialogue with researchers, lab and technicians.
- Contribute to continuous evaluation and improvement of experimental methodology, daily routines and procedures in comparison with the competitor feed.
- Works with scientists and processing technicians to ensure accurate formulation and ingredient procurement.
- Responsible for the setup, monitoring, recording and reporting of results of trials with appropriate partners.
- Liaise with the research team to update on trial findings and timely share the reports with the Strategic Marketing and Technology team.
- Ensure trials comply with the safety program and care policies for launch after global approvals.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned (Technical training, product performance tracking, PoP compilation etc.,)
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Fisheries science, Lifesciences, Aqua nutrition / Aqua Culture.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in local language and English.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-4 years in Aqua Nutrition technology / Fish and Shrimp feed trials, R&D and Aquafarm services.
- Master’s degree or other post-secondary degrees in Zoology, Fisheries science, Lifesciences, Aqua nutrition / Aqua Culture.
- Analytical Statistic knowledge.
- Experience in running research trials.
