Name of the Project – “Indigenous development of low-cost, portable, high-speed confocal Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscopy (cSLO) system for fluorescence angiographic and photoreceptors imaging of human eye”

Tenure – Six months (Extendable up to 2 years subject to excellent performance and
availability of Funds)
Duration – The appointment under this project is to be treated as temporary for two years subject to the availability of the fund and will be governed by the rules/conditions of the sanctioned project.

Fellowship/month – Rs 31,000/- + applicable HRA as per ICMR and BIT, Mesra rule.
Eligibility – Postgraduate Degree in Biotechnology and related disciplines (Professional Course) selected through a process described through any one of the following –
(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR- UGC, NET including
lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE and equivalent examinations
(b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central
government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,
DRDO, MHRD, CUCET, AICTE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable – (1) Experience in MATLAB, (2) Experience in Optical components handling
