Eligibility & Selection – Ph. D. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology or other allied subjects. Experience in animal handling, molecular virology, viral infection, mammalian cell culture, flow cytometric analysis, viral plaque assay and other cell biology techniques are required. Candidates having first author publication in peer-reviewed journals in the above subject areas will be given preference during the screening stage. Candidates who have submitted PhD thesis and are waiting for viva voce may also apply. For such candidates, the fellowship amount will be that of an SRF until he/she defends PhD thesis.
Fellowship – Rs. 47,000/- plus at 16 percent HRA pm
