Age Limit – The age limit is up to 30 years (age relaxation will be given as per Govt of India rules)
Tenure – The above post is to be filled purely on a contract basis for a period up to 13th June 2022.

Apply on the proforma attached at Annexure ‘A’ along with a certificate of age, qualification, experience and category (if any) complete in all respects on or before December 16, 2021, by 04:00 PM positively in the office of the Department of Virology, Room No. 608, Research Block-A, PGIMER, Chandigarh. No individual letters will be issued for this recruitment.
Note: It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the applications are reached
timely in the department. Applications received after the due date shall be summarily rejected. Department will not be responsible for any postal delay. The list of eligible/not eligible candidates shall be uploaded to the PGIMER Website on December 17,2021The candidate will be selected on the basis of a written test only (with minimum qualifying marks of 40%). The written test will be conducted on December 18, 2021, at 11:15 AM. All the eligible candidates should report at NIPS auditorium, Research Block B, Level 6, (Near PGI Post Office) PGIMER, Chandigarh by 10:15 AM positively on December 18, 2021. There shall be no entry inside the examination hall after 11:10 AM. All are requested to follow the COVID-l9 protocol with properly masking and distance maintenance. All the candidates are requested to visit the website regularly for any changes/development. The authority reserves the right to change /cancel the program due to administrative issues.
Essential Qualification – M.Sc in virology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Parasitology from recognize University/Institute.
Desirable – 1-Year Lab experience in Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Parasitology/Immunology.
Remunerations – Rs. 31000/- (Consolidated)
