Job description –
We are looking for a self-driven and motivated candidate with an interest in host-pathogen interaction studies. The primary responsibility of the job is to design and perform laboratory experiments with rigour and thorough documentation to complete an ongoing project on protein-protein interaction. The tasks include but are not limited to generating new constructs, purifying proteins and performing interaction studies using a variety of techniques.
Qualification & Experience required
Essential –
- Master’s degree in Biological Sciences with 60% of marks, or B. Tech degree in biosciences
- 1-2 year(s) experience in Molecular biology, recombinant protein expression and purification and protein interaction studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Good organizational and documentation skills
- Knowledge in the use of personal computers and their applications
Desirable –
- Have fellowship such as UGC/CSIR NET
- Good knowledge of protein structures and simulation
Salary – Remuneration will be equivalent to Project Associate I or II as per DST/DBT norms, depending on experience and qualification.
