Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification: It is preferable that the candidate is GATE/NET qualified (attach a copy of the scorecard) or with any equivalent fellowship or with experience in molecular biology, protein expression purification, or handling yeast as a model organism or handling mammalian cell culture system.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 (the year I & II) for NET/GATE qualified candidates or candidates qualified for National level examination conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies or institutions. For candidates who are not qualified for NET/GATE or National level examinations, fellowships will be Rs. 25,000 (the year I & II) as per SERB norms.
