ICMR invites online applications, from Indian Citizens, up to 3rd September 2021 till 5:30 PM to fill up the following post to be filled purely on a temporary basis under the development of the “Covid-19 National vaccine tracker platform”.

Name of the Post: Project Research Scientific-IV (Project Coordinator)

Number of positions: One

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, age relaxation will be as per the Government of India/ICMR rules.

How to apply & The Terms and Conditions for the post are as follows:

1. The post is to be filled up on a purely temporary basis and will be initially for a period of one year.
2. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason.
3. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
4. Benefits of Provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim etc. are not applicable.
5. No Age relaxation against the unreserved vacancies as per Govt. of India order No.36011/1/98/Estt (RES) dated 1/7/1998.
6. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and the candidate should make his/her own arrangement for stay for the interview and join of the post.
7. Qualification and experience should be from a reputed organization.
8. The experience will be counted only after the completion of essential educational qualifications.
9. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee the interview call and selection.
10. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
11. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/ Organization are not eligible to apply.
12. Leave shall be as per the ICMR’s policy for project human resources.
13. Consolidated salary of post may be revised as per ICMR instructions.
14. PhD or MD degree in subjects relevant to the Indian Council of Medical Research shall be treated equivalent to three years of experience respectively. The selected candidates will work in the project mentioned above and on any other work that may be assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time.

Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 48,000/- per month plus HRA

Qualification:

1st Class Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 2 years of experience in a related subject.
OR
2nd Class Master’s Degree with PhD in relevant in subject from a recognized university

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Peer-Reviewed publications in the indexed journals in the field of COVID-19
2. Experience in handling scientific/public health project management and coordination in a government, autonomous. PSU recognized information.
3. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
4. Knowledge of computer applications and data management and analysis.
